On saturday the 19 of april a number of the predator club made there
way down to nenagh for the first race in the triathlon calander year.
It was a over cast windy morning in nenagh , even do the rain had
stayed away for what was going to be a roller coaster event for a lot
of the seasoned battle hardened triathletes and it was great to see a
high number of new people taking the chance to become a triathlete.
There was 150 particpents in the race the following are predator members

Registration was in the school grounds while the transitiuon was in
the grounds of the swimming pool , race was really well organised ,
with lots of officals there to both guide and cheer competors on .The
swim leg was in 5 per lane with 6 lanes in each wave , the swim was
good very enjoyable , the cycle leg was tough as it was 10 km against
" at times i taught was going to be hurricane " but on the 10 km
return it was heaven sit back and let the wind take you " i averaged
out 18 km on the away leg but the return leg i was touchin 54 km back
".
The run was lovely as it was a loop run , we all finished the race i
would like to congralute all people who took part and i hope you all
had a enjoyable race .
